What a perfect night! We went here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We were seated with a perfect view of the Harbor Bridge. We enjoy the special seafood player with bugs, scallops, oysters and more! It was just a perfect night. The entire restaurant is outside so bring a jacket if it's a chilly night. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Terrible service!! Went for appetizers before opera. Cocktails were tasty but waitress forgot the easiest drink - a bottle of beer.
Oysters were great. The San Choy Bau was very salty. Calamari lacked heft - almost like slivers. The sashimi - had fresher ones in Scottsdale Arizona.
We asked for tap water and somehow they charged us for still water. I mentioned it to manager and she implied that we asked for still water. They took the charge off. When our bill came I requested to have the bill split - we were six in our party. The manager said they do not split bills - but said she could split in half. I asked to split to three and bill app had no problem doing it.
Here is the sad ending. Our waitress came back to present our bills and had the gall to ask for a tip. I firmly said NO. Really crass :( -

Stopped here for a quick lunch of oysters and Rose! What a fabulous venue and interesting selection of oysters!!!
Although we were very specific during our dining journey, to sit and walk through the dinner and wine menu would have been great! Both are quite extensive and have the average wine connoisseur and seafood fan covered!!!
The views from this open-air venue are amazing...the passing water taxis and passenger ferries were a delight to watch and the view of the Sydney bridge---perfect!!!
What a day to wrap-up a great morning! -

After a long morning of walking across the Sydney Harbor Bridge, my husband and I were looking for a nice place to relax and eat lunch. Sydney Cove Oyster Bar was located right off the harbor on the way to the Sydney Opera House, which was our next destination. You get to enjoy the beautiful view of the bridge without the hustle and bustle of tourists.
This is an outside establishment, but do not worry, each table is covered by an umbrella. The weather was absolutely perfect when we had lunch. We were immediately seated when we arrived. The staff were very friendly, but the service was slow despite the few people that were also dining there.
You must get the oysters! They're fresh and clean. We prefer the Pacific oysters, but try them all if you can. I love how they actually label each oyster when they serve it to you. The fish and chips are also delicious too. It's probably the best fish and chips that I have ever had. This isn't your average, American fish and chips. The fish was light, fresh and crispy. The fries are also nice and crispy. The serving size is actually large. Get a nice glass of white wine or beer and sit back and relax.
I highly recommend everyone to grab a bite here. It's a little pricey, but you'll definitely have a good time. Make sure that you plan your time accordingly because service is slow. -

Stunning view!
And the barramundi is delicious! Perfectly crisped with fresh tomatoes and potatoes.
